Enterprise Library is released.  These are derivatives of the original Application Blocks improved immensely to support additional functionality that was missing in the core original blocks.

PatternShare.com exposes a matrix of enterprise architecture views relevant to specific roles in the enterprise.  Each view contains patterns or guidance around how to solve common problems in the enterprise architecture space.
