I finally picked up a tablet PC a couple of weeks ago. It’s a Motion Computing  M1300. I wanted to get one for a personal project I was working on. So far I have been really happy with it .The form factor is a straight Tablet PC with no attached keyboard. It weighs only a couple of pounds. Battery life Seems pretty good at over 3 hours. It works great for surfing the web while on the couch.

I was a little worried when I first bought it the writing recognition was horrible until I installed XP Service Pack 2.  After that the tablet went from almost unusable to completely functional. I am now starting to bring it to meetings. The other thing is how InfoPath works with it. The ink entry feature is very impressive. You can write freehand in the form, and it inserts test in to the field. The more I practice writing the better I am getting at the tablet recognizing what I am writing.

I think the first accessory I am going to get is the hard top keyboard. The keyboard that comes with it is a smaller version of a regular Keyboard. The hard top looks like a little more portable solution.
