a long summer.  A lot has happened the last six months.  I finished (actually nearly finished) my basement.  I left BORN in July to become self employed as an independent consultant, and have been billing an average of 60 hours a week.  I am working on a pretty interesting project for a large insurance company, dealing with SOA and BizTalk 2004.  I also have been working on a white paper for the Microsoft Architecture Advisory Board, addressing the architecture of Smart Clients.

 

I just finished an InfoPath form for writing dasBlog entries off-line (using it right now).  InfoPath has a pretty good rich text editor, and works pretty well for composing entries (can't live with out the Word like integrated spell check).  Plus I wanted to play a bit with the Office 2003 Service Pack 1 that was released a while back with dramatic InfoPath improvements.  Over the next couple of weeks I am going to put together a service that will submit the blog entries once you are connected again.
